If a team member has already started using Butter in their own workspace, all of their recaps will still be available in the new workspace - as long as they join the workspace with the same email.
Additionally, if they've set up / saved items to their library, these can also be shared easily with the new workspace. Simply grab the share link and add to the new workspace!

Butter recaps are now fully responsive which means you can now access them from any mobile or tablet! Why is this important? Let's everyone access recaps shared with them, from anywhere ✅
You can now set the default sharing settings for your recaps in your room! Simply navigate to your room setup and change the recap access permissions! No more need to change sharing settings after every session 🙌
We recently reverted back from our 4:3 format to the standard 16:9 format to better accommodate everyone using virtual cameras to enhance their virtual experiences. Now, we're excited to introduce another big improvement for you - The Presenter mode for virtual cameras!
Enable the new presenter mode, select your input source and you will now be blown up in HD to easily leverage all of the amazing effects and tricks that you've built up!

Two improvements that makes working in Butter even smoother!
⚡️ Resize the app window: You can now resize most apps within Butter.Want to see more of the app? No problem! Want to see more participants? Done! Simply drag the handle to adjust the size to your preference.
🧠 Focus mode: It can work wonders to remove distractions. Enter Focus mode!
When Focus mode is activated, everything other than you, your participants, and your tool will be hidden. No reaction buttons, no agenda. Just the work to be done.
Annotations have finally made it to Butter! You can now draw on your screen while screensharing or presenting a PDF.
Here's some stuff to know about annotations:
✏️Magic erase: The annotations work like a pointer that disappears after five seconds after you stop drawing.
🤝Choose who can annotate: Only facilitators can annotate by default, but you can toggle on access for everybody to draw together!
🎨Choose your style: Change the stroke thickness and color to your liking.A highly requested feature that we hope you'll love!
Screensharing has been completely rebuilt from the ground up.
It's much smoother and makes it easier to:
✨Move the dock: The screensharing dock is now moveable, so it'll never block your content.

What's cooking good looking? We've pushed a lot of updates out on Butter today!
⚡️ Performance updatesWe've pushed out new video grid layouts! The new layouts have a significant impact on performance (and network usage) and should make for a lot more smoother sessions! The new layouts use a locked aspect ratio to better utilise the capture from traditional webcams without needing to crop anything away.
⏱ Redesigned timersThe Butter Timers have been updated! Changes include: completely new design, ability to minimise timer, colour customisation, add minutes while timers are running as well as adjusting volume locally.
Finally, you can now decide whether you want to have the "I'm done" indicator there or not. Schmooooth!

The recent update to Chrome 92 caused a number of bugs in Butter. Most critical you may have witnessed that the videos would black out during your sessions.This was a bit of hairy one that Google decided to throw at us, however, we're happy to announce that we've finally fixed it 🙌Have a great day!
